A UPI QR code encodes your payment address (VPA) so customers scan and pay with PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, or any UPI-enabled app. It is the standard way Indian shops accept digital payments at the counter.
What you need
- VPA — your UPI ID (for example yourshop@upi)
- Payee name — the name shown to the customer when paying
- Amount (optional) — leave blank for any amount, or set a fixed price
How to create a UPI QR code in 3 steps
- Select UPI — on the homepage generator, choose UPI Payment.
- Fill in payment details — enter VPA, payee name, and amount if you want a fixed-price code.
- Download and display — print the PNG and place it at your billing counter or on delivery packaging.
Fixed amount vs any amount
Use a fixed amount when every customer pays the same price (for example ₹50 for a meal combo). Leave the amount empty when customers enter the price themselves — common for retail shops and freelancers.
Static or dynamic?
Most shop UPI codes are static — the VPA is baked into the QR image. If you change your UPI ID, generate a new code and replace the printout.
